Dear Soul

When frustrated with yourself, dear soul, remember to be kind. Remember to be generous, and proud. And pay no mindto that voice which cries out ‘useless!’ ‘needs more work’ and leaves behindthe truth that your innate gentleness is gift, and what others see

is not the anxious turning of every thought. Do not be blindto your value, despite its difference from any other.

For that is beauty, that each spirit has been signedby unique seal of its loving creator, that in balance

of grace and wisdom the whole of humankindmay come before the divine

in harmony so blended in each part

as to be sublime.
